This course is designed to enhance the knowledge & skills of persons trained to EMT level or |

equivalent, who have knowledge of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Immediate Life Support (ILS). |

It will enhance the skills of personnel who may be involved in a cardiac arrest scenario as an |
|
individual or team responder, or anyone who may deal with patients with cardiovascular |
|
disease. It also enables the BLS provider to assist, anticipate & recognise the needs of their |
|
ALS provider peers. |
