Operational EMS Project Management

Our expertise and capability for major Emergency Medical Services project initiatives is utilised worldwide, with projects completed in such diverse countries as Nigeria, Libya, UAE, Azerbaijan, and other countries within Central and Eastern Europe and Asia Our operational project management provision includes:

  • Integrated pre-hospital clinical training for ambulance staff, nurses and hospital doctors to form efficient and effective teams with clear strategies and lines of communication

  • Integrated EMS systems for major cities and conurbations as part of Government or private initiatives for health and welfare improvement

  • Audits of existing provision with recommendations and training suitable for the implication of State EMS response plans

  • Establishing EMS Training Academies alongside Universities, Government departments NGO's to establish national qualifications

  • Provision of ambulance vehicles and associated medical equipment and consumables together with relevant training in their operation

  • Clinical training to international standards, ranging from basic life support through to paramedic level, and specialist medical subjects

  • Defensive and emergency response driver training to raise safety awareness and standards of safety

In all projects we are acutely aware of and understand the need to meet the requirements of possibly sensitive local cultural and religious issues. We recognise and respect the differing attitudes and behaviours of people. We work closely with clients to ensure that all aspects of our training and operational provision is delivered to comply with, recognise, and respect local cultural, religious and ethical requirements, and local or national laws, values and customs.

Lifeskills Medical UK : United Arab Emirates

In Abu Dhabi we maintain a permanent presence, working with the Emirates Institute for Health and Safety to provide emergency medical services training and consultancy for a number of UAE Government departments and private organisations. Regular training takes place in Al Ain, Dubai, and Ras al-Khaimah.

Working closely with EIHS, our UAE services includes consultation and planning to provide solutions to Emergency Medical Services on-going training and operational needs. This work also encompasses training to assist the UAE's emergency services ability to respond to natural and man-made emergencies and disasters.

As part of our role we provide UAE paramedic training for specific Emergency Medical Services, including Abu Dhabi International Airport, and we provide emergency preparedness courses for the general community. Integrated into our services, we have the ability to research, evaluate, report and advise on new emergency medical equipment for organisations who are undertaking an EMS and casualty evacuation role, especially for those working in remote, and hostile areas.

Emirates Institute for Health & Safety

Lifeskills Medical UK and the Emirates Institute for Health and Safety (EIHS) work as strategic partners to combine each other's professional skills, and together to deliver professional training throughout the UAE to EMS practitioners in demanding conditions, where their intervention is essential to the safety and wellbeing of the people living and working there.

Based in Abu Dhabi, EIHS is accredited by the Abu Dhabi Educational Council to promote national public health strategies to reduce deaths, injuries, disabilities and disease, through high-impact initiatives that target areas of highest demand. EIHS is an important part of the United Arab Emirates long-term strategic health and safety plan.

Together, Lifeskills Medical UK and he EIHS is giving the UAE initial research and audience identification, through to strategic planning, on-time implementation and accurate assessment. The resulting co-ordinated activities are evidence for the continuance of the best health and safety provision available.

Lifeskills Medical UK : Malta

Projects within Malta and in other countries are jointly administered by Lifeskills Medical UK and it's strategic trading partner Soteria, Malta's leading safety training company. Soteria. has excellent training facilities and resources, and is ideally situated to provide safe location short courses for North African countries. Working as a team we maintain the capability to provide clinical and emergency response driving courses for Malta and for international clients throughout Europe and North Africa.

Lifeskills Medical UK also provides on-going clinical training for Saint James Hospital in Sliema

Lifeskills Medical UK also works closely with Saint James Hospital in Sliema, providing professional pre-hospital care, in-service training, and health and safety consultation. This service includes A&E/HDU ambulances fully equipped to UK standards. Saint James Hospital in Malta has earned an international reputation for excellence in private health care, and Lifeskills Medical UK is proud to provide on-going training for them, and endorses and recommends the excellent facilities and services provided by the Saint James Hospital Group

Lifeskills Medical UK : Nigeria

For over nine years we have provided training and organisational initiatives for a number of Government sponsored organisations within Nigeria including high quality clinical training and response driving training for ambulance staff, nurses and doctors to increase EMS efficiency and effectiveness. We have also carried out training projects to assist in responding to natural or man-made disasters. projects to date have been completed for:
